Taking over 3 years to complete, this home defines mountain contemporary from the finishes to the furnishings. Nothing “off the rack” would do for this home, as most decorative light fixtures and furnishings were designed and created specifically for this home and its spaces The kitchen has a beautiful, organic feel to it with the large backdrop of granite gracing one of the walls. The custom three tiered bunk room design was inspired by the old Silver King Coalition Mine Building.
”It was a pleasure working with Ontario Design. The most important thing I can say about them is “They listen!” They helped us build and furnish our 12,000 square foot home from start to finish. They designed light fixtures, ceiling work, chose masonry and countertops, faucets, flooring, etc. While they were choosing materials to build our mountain modern home, they were thinking about how to furnish this home of 6 bedrooms/baths, great room, game room, theater, etc. It was a complicated project with lots of pieces, but they pulled it together beautifully. We are so comfortable and happy in our new home! Thank you, Ontario!
